What kind of honey do you produce?

How much honey can a hive produce?

A healthy hive can produce around 25 to 60 pounds (11 to 27 kg) of surplus honey in a good season, though some can yield up to 250 pounds under ideal conditions.

Do you feed your bees sugar water?

No, we never feed sugar water when honey supers are on the hive.

How do you harvest honey?

Kaag Honey is harvested by uncapping the honeycomb and using an extractor to spin out the honey.

We manage pests carefully to keep bees healthy. Treatments are applied responsibly and never when honey is being harvested, to ensure honey quality.
